Hey ya'll!!! I have been keeping in touch with a few core members via facebook. But i'm feeling sentimental and I want Shadow Bite to be active again. So lets get back to the forum and get back to chatting!! Vampire Academy may have ended but RM still has active series we can discuss and we can still discuss many other series. We are all book nerds and we can talk about it here!

I'm here and waiting for the second book of RM's Generation X   . I  didn't like FH and that will be the book I won't read once I re-read the series  again .

lol no hard feelings , I hate the fact that they are going to...well... did VA into a movie . The trailers seem kinda cheesy and I'm not sure I want to watch it

i'm not sure how I feel about it. I wanted Rose to be more curvy as she's descried in the books and I don't like lissa and Dim is NOT how I pictured at all. I'm not huge on going to the movies lately so I probably won't see it until it comes out on DVD

Well to be honest , it's impossible to find someone just like she describes them in the books. The thing I don't like about it the script . Some of Rose's lines are suppose to be funny they are not , just like that " nose job in Montana" that's just uncalled for

I don't recall that one. I haven't watched any new trailers... I have to get to bed unfortunately I have work tomorrow o_O GoodNight!!

I'm undecided about the Va movie too. RM had a statement saying the trailers are being tailored to market comedy and kind of not focus on the vampires. Shrug. I think the movie will suck compared to the book but I think some parts will be great. I doubt I will go to the movies too. I'll wait for dvd release.

I haven't read FH yet! I haven't even bought it. But i've been in a reading funk too.

You know i read Generation X and I actually really really liked it! I've read so many complaints and bad reviews for the book but i thought it was such a complex and different mythological book. I can't wait for the second book either.

And I've been good, just working retail and the holiday seasons I have weird crazy hours so when I'm home from work I just veg out in front the tv. I cannot wait for this week to be over and we go back to regular store hours.

I didn't like that Mae turned out to be a lab baby!! I loved that she was a prefect 9 and she didn't brag about it! and to find out that she wasn't born that way but made that was the part I didn't like!

I don't know how you do it , Tasha, I would just tell everybody to leave me alone at the store hehe . Then again I hate crowds   

That is so true! I think I want to re-read the book again. I've only read it once and I'm having trouble remembering everything. Ah, I'm getting older, the memory isn't as strong. Lol.

I scored some Christmas money/gift cards so now I'm on the prowl to book shop

I for one am very excited about the VA movie although I did not start out that way. My only complaint so far is how they are marketing it. But you do what you have to do in order to bring in a new audience as as the book fans.

I loved FH and I loved Gameboard of the gods. FH had a predictable ending imo. Can't wait for the new books next year.

So what is new with everyone?

I've had quite the busy year. My mom has been in and out of the hospital countless times. It's been scary as hell and her health is really going downhill. I'm scared that she doesn't have a whole lot of time left. I had to go seasonal at Disney and I'm just about over working there. All of my friends have gone to different areas and the college program kids are little jerks who act like I don't know what I'm doing when I do mange to work a shift. It's frustrating.

Enough with the bad.

My baby girl will be 1 in less than two months!!!! It's so hard to believe a year has almost passed by. She is off the charts for height. She certainly doesn't get her height from me lol

Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays. I'll try to post on here more often. I've missed SB!

Wilda , TBH . FH was sooo uncool for me , because it's kinda turning into VA with different main characters and that's a pity cuz RM is brilliant and can do A LOT better that trying to bring the VA story line in BL only with a few different twists . At least GoG is unique and different from Georgina's and Dark Swan series!

Hmm...I don't see much similarities but I'm open to hear them. It's no VA which is why I did to rush to read it but I still enjoy it. Hopefully the action will really pick up in Silver Shadows.

What's everyone's plans for NYE?

I had a blast for NYE. I worked 11-7 but when i got out of work my bestie met me. We hung out until the sun came up ( the hubby too) have drinks and just being silly. I'm paying for all the fun today though.   

Well, hello everyone! I've missed my time on here chatting to you all! What happened? i hope you're all well. i'm still in uni training to be a teacher for kids between 3-11 years old.
