My Little Dhampir--a Shadow Kiss fanfiction

So I'm not pro-RoseXAdrian, but I still really like Adrian. I think he's a fascinating character because of his complexity. So I decided to take a couple scenes from Shadow Kiss and rewrite them from Adrian's perspective. So far, it's just Adrian's thoughts after the trial fight between Rose and Dimitri, but I've been working on a revamp of chapter 29. I didn’t understand how no one else noticed it. Of course, no one else was able to see what I could: that their auras glowed with passion and…well, love.

Regardless of my extra sense, it was still so blatantly obvious. Rose was still straddling Belikov, her fingers splayed across his chest, which heaved in sync with her own after their ‘battle.’ Teacher and student gazed at each other as though they were drowning and the other was their air. Or perhaps as though a hungry Strigoi might gaze upon a hapless victim. Starving. Ravenous. I half expected them to go at it right there in front of everyone on the cold, wet grounds.

An iron fist clenched in my stomach, twisting my insides. I tasted something metallic and slightly acidic in my mouth. It felt like when the magic left my control: dark, angry, perverse. Jealousy, I realized.... Click to continue

which is saying somethin i usually don't like fanfiction it's usually way to different from the actual story line to be good but i luved it

Nicely written! I love your portrayal of Adrian- it stays true to the novels yet still gives us a much more imitate insight to him. The way you depicted him was really good. I like I like :-)

Thanks, guys! I'm really glad you like it. I have part of the end of Shadow Kiss written, but this past year has been...tumultuous to say the least. Hopefully I'll get that finished and posted soon.

I reviewed this on Fanfiction.net as well, but i had to leave my approval here as well. I love Adrian, and I honestly can't say if i'm on any team, i still love anything to do with Adrian, and i also find myself liking Adrian/Rose, more than Rose/Dimitri lately. Though i'm not sure why. But the point is that i loved this!

i also like it. it described it in another way. it showes how much adrian really loves rose. i think that her and adrain would be cute together
