Well I'm obviously new, but still thought I'd properly introduce myself.

My name is Amanda. Im 23 and live in Florida,US

I've always been a vampire nut, (since I was 6 actually), and vampire literature specifically.
I've read everything from the Anne Rice Vampire Cronicles, Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake books, Poppy Z. Brite's books, to the Vampire Academy series.

I love em.

The current vampire craze has honestly gotten a little overwhelming, but it really has spawned a whole bunch of literature that wouldn't have become wildly popular otherwise.

I'm a pretty easy going person. So I look forward to many an interesting discussion with many over you.

And like Kim, I'm amazed with your vampire love as well. Since 6? Wow. I've been a vampire fan since young but not that young. I've just found my way back to reading. I detested reading for a long time since as a child, i was forced to read. Then i got back into early elementary years. Then i stopped reading again until i was 15 /16 ish. Then i stopped again as i started college. then i found my way back to reading a year or so again which kind of sucks cause i don't have the time to read anymore. But, i love reading and it helps me get through my daily life and stress and i'm finally getting into all the vamp series I wanted to. ANyways, I ramble. lol. Welcome to the site!

Yep Kim, since 6. ^_^ That was when I first watched the movie Lost Boys, then I watched Interview With The Vampire and watched this vampire soap opera they used to have on tv called Dark Shadows. When I got a little older (10 is when I remember) I bought the book Interview With the Vampire for a quarter at a thrift store. And since then I have never stopped. Movies, books, you name it! ^_^

Its always been a combination with me with books, movies, music, and even some of the "life style" vampires. (I'll be honest when I say that can get a little too nuts for me).

That sucks that you don't have much time for reading now that you are in school. But I know very much how that goes.
